Julia’s research interests range from traditional Japanese theatre to salon culture in 18th c. France to music pedagogy methods. She has a BA in East Asian Studies from Oberlin College (2019) and is currently working on an MBA through the Global Leaders Program (2023). She has presented at the Oberlin Senior Symposium (2019) on temples in Japan and York University’s colloquium on remembering the French salons (2022).
